Husband offered me cosmetic surgery for Christmas

Q MY husband said he was willing to pay for me to have cosmetic surgery for my Christmas.

I don't know whether to be pleased or insulted.

I hit 50 next year and I know it would boost my self confidence.

But it also makes me worry that my husband thinks I look past it and if I don't get the surgery he will find someone else.

A COSMETIC surgery does what it says on the tin - it's surgery. That is something which should never be taken lightly.

It's not like a haircut. There's always a risk. But really it's down to you to decide whether you want to take that risk or not.

For what it's worth, I think your husband was, however cack handedly, trying to cheer you up, not exchange you for a newer, younger model.
